How the game works

Record a run or a walk in Strava, on your phone or on any watch that syncs to it. runobi picks it up on its own.

Every kilometre turns into coins and XP. Milestones and challenges drop chests with gems, gear, and puzzle pieces.

Spend what you earn on your runner. Fuse gear into rarer gear, level it up, and earn more on the next run.

Link your Strava account one time. Earning starts with your next activity.
Run and claim
After each run, open runobi and tap to claim your rewards. Nothing is claimed for you, so every reward is yours to open.

Five slots and four rarities. Every piece makes your runner stronger.

Streaks
Keep your streak flame lit, climb the milestone ladder, and hold on to it with streak savers.

Take on distance, climb, and streak challenges. Finish a tier and claim its chest.

Collect shoes, tops, caps, and more in four rarities. Fuse three of a kind into the next rarity.
Rewards wheel
Spin one time a day for free. Challenge tickets earn extra spins.
Puzzles
Find puzzle pieces in chests. Complete a row or a column to collect its reward.

Your camp keeps earning coins while you rest. Come back and collect.

Your runs come from Strava
- Raw activity data is deleted after 7 days.
- Your data is never sold, and no ad networks run in the app.
- Leaderboards are opt-in.

What is runobi?
runobi is a free mobile game for runners and walkers. It turns the activities you record in Strava into coins, chests, and upgrades for your in-game runner.
Is runobi free?
Yes. runobi is free to download and play. Optional in-app purchases are available, and the odds of any paid random item are shown before you buy.
Do I need Strava?
Yes. runobi reads your activities from Strava, so you need a Strava account. A free Strava account is enough.
Which watches and apps work with runobi?
Any device or app that syncs activities to Strava works, because runobi receives each activity from Strava.
Do walks count?
Yes. Runs, walks, and hikes all earn. Walks earn at a lower rate than runs.
What can I earn?
Coins, gems, XP, gear, puzzle pieces, boosters, and wheel tickets. Some brand challenges also unlock voucher codes from partner brands.
Can I exchange coins or gems for money?
No. In-game currencies have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts.
Do runs from before I signed up count?
No. Earning starts with the first activity after you connect Strava.
What happens to my Strava data?
runobi keeps raw activity records for at most 7 days and never sells your data. Disconnecting Strava or deleting your account deletes every Strava-derived record.
